Look what’s only 5 minutes away!
Sunset Lakes is one of the closest rental communities to the Disney theme parks and is genuinely only 5 minutes from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and only a few minutes more from Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios (formally MGM Studios) and Epcot.
Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Seaworld, Discovery Cove and Florida’s newest waterparks Aquatica and Volcano Bay are only a 15 minute drive away.
Our villa is in the enviable position of being close enough to the theme parks to make it possible for you to return numerous times throughout your busy days to take a swim, to relax and sunbathe, to have a bite to eat or just to take time to recharge your batteries before you return to the fun.
Another unique feature of our villa is that it is not overlooked.
To the front we have uninterrupted views of the conservation area and to the back we overlook the lake.
Numerous shopping malls and retail outlets are also very close by and for convenient grocery shopping; Publix, Wal-Mart Superstore, Super Target and a Winn Dixie are only 1.5 – 2 miles away.
Many excellent restaurants including Outback, TGI Friday’s, Texas Roadhouse, Longhorns, Bahama Breeze, Buffalo Wild Wings and Joes Crab Shack, to name just a few, are all within a 2 mile radius and for fast food you’ll also find Pizza Hut, Ponderosa, Shoney’s, Denny’s, Taco Bell and of course MacDonald’s.
Disney World can be reached within 5-10 minutes and The Universal Parks and Sea World are a 20-minute drive. There are numerous Golf Courses close by for golf enthusiasts and to suit all levels of ability.
Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex
A little further afield are the beaches – the Atlantic Coast and Kennedy Space Centre are 1 hours drive and the nearest beach resort on the Gulf Coast of Clearwater will take you 1 1/2 hours to drive. Busch Gardens at Tampa is a little nearer and usually takes 1 hour to reach.
Sunset Lakes is an oasis that provides not only the ideal place to retreat to after a long day at the Parks but it’s close enough to return to during your busy days to relax and recharge or to just sit by your pool and later watch the Floridian sun set on another beautiful day.
From classic, old-school amusement parks to zipping across the waters of the Everglades on an airboat ride, we truly run the gamut from A to Z when it comes to local attractions in Kissimmee. Go ziplining high above the treetops, float above it all in a hot air balloon, and explore the wonders of natural Florida by kayak, canoe, or stand-up paddleboard. There are so many thrilling experiences, adventures, and things to do in Kissimmee, you may have to stay a day or two longer! (Actually, better make it a week or two.)
For golf enthusiasts there’s a range of beautiful Championship Golf Courses nearby such as Falcon’s Fire, Disney’s Celebration Golf, Legends, Highlands Reserve and Southern Dunes.
